So here we are, inevitably back to the founders of the communications networks in our country; the people to whom all have paid their hard earned money in the past – BT. British Telecom (to make it sound a little less attractive) have a lot to make up for when it comes to providing a service, so can they do it with highspeed broadband?
Well this is what they offer, and this is how it compares with the other leaders on the market today. To begin with they offer the pretty standard speeds of up to 20mb dependent on your area. Now this is pretty much the same as every other provider with the exception of Virgin Media, if you’re lucky enough to be in their area. However, what BT do beat some of the others with is their price. Surprised? Yes, so was I!
It appears that BT can give you this speed, a wireless hub, 10GB of downloads, all on an 18 month long contract for just £7.99 a month! Now that’s not bad value for money when it comes to highspeed broadband let me tell you. Many other highspeed broadband providers are charging £20-30 when it comes to their services. Now, granted, they have lots of extras like unlimited downloads and shorter contracts, but you have to ask yourself do you really need them?
In my opinion BT has excelled itself with their deal, and along with the option of purchasing BT vision in your package, £7.99 a month is a good price! Consider them redeemed for all those late payment charges!
