When it comes to getting high speed broadband on your phone you have a number of options. Most smartphones come with a good quality web browse built in that you can use to access the internet. If you have a regular mobile phone then you will still be able to access the internet but you may not get particularly fast internet. In the UK all mobile phones are still 3g but 4g mobile broadband is expected to be implemented soon. The government has already started auctioning off the 4g licences which means that super fast broadband will soon be a reality. 4g mobile phones are likely to provide broadband speeds that are up to 10 times as fast. A mobile phone currently gives a speed of about 3 to 3.5mbs but with 4g you can expect to get fast broadband on your phone that will be up to a massive 30 to 40 mbs which is extremely fast. It is so fast that it is faster than the landline connection that most people will have for their home internet. Now that is what you can call true high speed broadband, or in this case mobile broadband, on your phone. In the US the network provider Sprint has already launched the first 4g network but the UK is lagging behind and there are not currently any of these awesome 4g networks in place but they will be here soon.
