That’s right, Virgin are the movers and shakers in the highspeed broadband world today, and this is partly attributable to the fact that they are allowing their customers to customise their own highspeed broadband packages…

The packages don’t just include your highspeed broadband connection though, you can include a Television entertainment package and also your phone calls if you want to.  I know this is something i would seriously consider doing because i’m getting quite sick of the fact that i pay three different people for these services, and i pay far too much!

There are several levels (or sizes) of package on their website, and they all mostly begin with a medium and go through to XXL in some cases.  For example, if you watch a lot of TV but you don’t use the phone or the internet much then you might choose the large broadband package, the medium phone package, but the XL TV package.  You see how it works now?  And when you have made your choice Virgin will price it up for you.

To begin with, in some cases you can get the first 2 months free, with free installation.  As you choose your options the price will change, and it varies from between £20-40 i think (but i didn’t choose all the options and check everything out)

Either way it’s a good service.  However, there is one problem and it’s not a small one.  You chances of getting on Virgin Highspeed broadband and getting the amazing speeds you do is dependent on whether or not you live in an area where the fibre optic cables are.  You can check this on the virgin website.
