Firefox and Google Chrome can be downloaded free of charge and are much faster more stable than Internet Explorer. But if you would prefer to stay with Internet Explorer then make sure it is 7. Dont use 8 as it is still in the beta stage and crashes quite a bit.

You can compare deals on many comparison broadband websites such as this Spanish one we run in Spain, Ofertas De Adsl.

5) Get an iPlate from BT. This gets rid of bell wire which can slow down your connection. Google iPlate for more info.
6) Get a better router. If you are using a free router you got with your broadband then you could be better off with getting a top of the range one.
7) If you are having problems with the speed of your connection, try using a hard wried router. This often helps.
