Now to another leader in the field of highspeed broadband – Sky TV. They weren’t satisfied in bringing us 5000 channels of the same old rubbish, now they have to try and give us highspeed broadband. So how are they doing?
Well, Sky have one thing on their side. Like BT, they offer a combined service. Because they can offer you telephone, TV and internet a lot of people sign up for it. However, is it all roses when you sign up to Sky. Well, personally I’ve had enough of some of the garbage that goes on the TV, but their highspeed broadband does seem a sensible choice.
It’s a sensible choice if you don’t have a TV provider, simply because when you sign up for Sky TV and you buy a TV package at around, let’s say £30 then you automatically get your highspeed broadband and all your phonecalls free! Yes, that’s right, i said free!
Now if you’re someone who pays a lot on your phonebill, or you’ve got a different TV provider then this might also be a good time to switch to Sky. Afterall there are some good programmes on there (when you search hard); it’s a good thing they have the movies going for them really!
