Taking you back a day or two to the post i wrote about being in the middle of nowhere, unable to get broadband (the nightmare time!), i’d like to tell you how it feels today. Well, with a high speed broadband connection it feels as though the days without broadband were quite literally the dark age. In fact i’m going to refer to that dreadful dial up era from now on as the “dark age”…
Following my successful transformation to broadband from dial-up, after BT decided they were actually going to update the phone lines, my eyes were opened to a world of high speed broadband functions. I could now watch movies and my favourite TV programmes online with broadband, without having to wait all morning to get it downloading; i used to choose the morning because all the damn school kids were on the internet in the evening, slowing down my dreadful dial up!
So broadband is here to lift me from the dark age. These days i’ve fallen in love with broadband so much that i write this stuff so others, like yourself can read about high speed broadband, how to improve your connection, and how to get a good deal when you compare high speed broadband packages from the various internet service providers out there; there are loads to go at!
