Fibre optic technology uses fibres that are made of glass that are specifically designed to carry information from one place to another without any slowing down. This is why Virgin Media can boast the incredible speeds they do.
You don’t even need a phone line to take full advantage of Virgin Media either, it doesn’t take long to set up and it’s completely wireless!
Check them out and compare the prices with some of the other highspeed internet providers around; i think you’ll find that they compete rather nicely!
