So we all want highspeed broadband don’t we?  Of course we do.  And we’ve talked about Virgin’s fibre optic network spreading across the UK, but what about BT?  Well BT, the former masters in communication, are being forced to act a little faster and work a little harder thanks to Virgin…

Now BT reckon that they will have around 66% of the country covered by their fibre optic network in the next few years, rather than on 40%.  They really have been pushing the boat out and spending a lot of money.

Will this huge amount of money to build this highspeed broadband wireless network cost the customer however?  It looks as though this could be highly probably, and personally i think it a little unfair that those who are still paying full line rental in areas that cannot even yet receive highspeed broadband via the telephone cable, will have to be accountable to price increases too.

Mark my words, BT will not let all this money go without billing it to us.

However, having said that, and despite the poor devils living in the sticks, BT are offering a great opportunity for those of us who are able to receive the wireless highspeed broadband via their network of fibre optic cables.  These cables can deliver seemless internet access at speeds that have never been experienced before; and that’s not even to mention the television and telephone services they will be offering too!
