Another relative unheard of ISP enter the arena and are welcomed by a number of different clients. Eclipse over things that all the other ISPs do, but perhaps they might do things a little differently and offer a great customer service and good connections? Let’s find out…

Well Eclipse is primarily a starter package for internet users and it’s great for light users. Never before have light users ever had a highspeed broadband connection exclusive for them:

2GB usage allowance

Up to 24MB speeds. You need to be sure this will work where you are in the country however, this is very dependent on how far you are from your nearest telephone exchange.

Customise online activities

Free unlimited uploads

10 Free subdomain email addresses

Free website subdomain address and 50MB of webspace to build your website

UK based support team

Total control to adjust and amend your service 24/7

So it looks as though there are plenty of good reasons to go with Eclipse. I wouldn’t go with them if you’re a heavy user because they’re relatively new and they also don’t offer that much in the way of usage, but if you’re starting out then i would certainly say that this is the one for you. Don’t let it get away, go and sign up for it today.

BE unlimited are offering a pretty good package at the moment for highspeed broadband. It would appear that someone with a business brain has recognised a gap in the market and decided to offer their highspeed broadband at a reasonable price on reasonable terms and contracts…

You see that’s what make the BE highspeed internet a good choice; that and all the following of course:

24MB Speed

Unlimited usage

£17.88 a month

Option not to have a contract. You can opt for paying a little extra (£24 a month) and get a three month termination of contract deal.

Free BE box wireless router.

So this is a healthy looking alternative to the year long contracts; and sometimes even longer. It’s usually when these big companies have you on a long contract that you end up getting a poor service from them. It really would pay you all to try out BE if only to make the other companies start offering these flexible contract terms and condition. It has to be the future doesn’t it? And anyone who thinks that they should get a fair deal from their current ISP would be signing up with the next one that offered connection on a short term contract.

There are so many of these highspeed broadband companies that you will almost certainly be able to get yourself a good deal if you compare prices well; they’re all in such competition. There is absolutely no reason why you should take anything less that the speeds you’re capable of getting and that you really want, for a good price…

Virgin Media Cable is available in some areas of the UK now and it’s really one of the fastest high speed broadband supplies you can get your hands on:

Up to 50MB speed! This has to be the fastest anyone can get their high speed broadband.

No download limit

£33 a month

Free internet security

Free router

No need for a BT landline

This has to be the one for everyone these days, especially if you’re having problems with your current supplier and you really want to move. The only problem with Virgin is that they’re not all over the county yet. It makes you wish they’d shut their mouth about the cable and just laid it first, everywhere in the UK so that when they announced it we could all sign up and start to enjoy broadband at the high speed it’s supposed to be delivered.

There are an enormous amount of things you can do with highspeed broadband, and they don’t all have to be to do with downloading things at the highest speed like your teenage daughter keeps telling you in order to get you to sign up for it…

There are benefits for the entire family. With highspeed broadband you can download music in seconds, yes, but you can also download movies, watch TV shows on your PC, upload pictures to social networking sites like Facebook faster; and the beauty of broadband is really in its ability to keep your telephone connected (this is of course if you’re going with a telephone connection).

There are other highspeed broadband options, like cable, and now you can even get fibre optic cable connections that deliver speeds that you couldn’t have previously imagined into your homes. It really is the time for a new future with highspeed broadband, and things are changing so fast that it’s going to be hard just to keep up with the advancements in technology.

If you’re going to get broadband you may as well get highspeed broadband. For the few extra pounds a month it is certainly worth every penny to get all the features on offer.

Talk Talk have been on the go for a long time now, in fact i find it hard to remember a time when they were not a world class provider of telecommunications. Highspeed broadband is just one of their many talents and today we’re going to look at what they have to offer…

If you decide to go with Talk Talk to satisfy your highspeed broadband needs then you could certainly do a lot worse. They are pretty much on par with all the top providers at the moment; all but the fibre optic providers who are clearly a long way ahead of the heap (but they can only provide those highspeed broadband packages to those people who live in a fibre optic area).

Talk Talk’s latest offer goes a little like this:

Highspeed broadband can be had in conjunction with free evening and weekend phonecalls with Talk Talk.

Free wireless Router with every order.

Free connection.

Speeds of up to 24Mb.

Downloads of 40Gb

18 Month contract

All for £6.99 a month!

Now here at highspeed broadband we think you’d struggle to get a cheaper highspeed broadband connection anywhere on the net that would offer these kinds of speeds and free calls and router. This really is a great deal from Talk Talk.

They are among those ISPs that are trying their best to hang onto those customers who cannot get the fibre optic broadband yet, and to be honest this is a good alternative until you’re in an area that has it.

Well now that is a good question and it’s something you should ask yourself frequently. You should check your highspeed broadband speed at regular times to make sure you are getting the service you’re paying your internet service provider…

There are times when your internet service may be delayed and this can be due to simply things like

Poor connection at your phone socket.

Highspeed broadband won’t necessarily get up to speed when the whole world is online.

You may be a long way from your telephone exchange.

Or alternatively your service provider might not be working as hard as they could for your subscription fee. Because of all the competition out there at the moment it would be a good idea to make your ISP aware that if your highspeed broadband speeds are not up to scratch then you will consider leaving them and going with another internet service provider.

To check your highspeed broadband connection speed you need to log onto a broadband speed checker. I don’t want to recommend one to you here but i think there are plenty out there to choose from. Simply check your speed on one of these websites and you will get an idea of what speeds you are getting. If these speeds are nothing like you think you should be getting from your ISP then complain and don’t delay.

No-one should have to pay too much for a highspeed internet connection that simply isn’t fast enough; particularly when there are so many of them out there to choose from.

There is only one real good answer to this question and it has to be because highspeed broadband is fast; and when we say fast we mean really fast! For anyone who remembers the days when dial up internet connections were the only way to get online, you’ll know precisely how fast highspeed broadband can go…

There are an enormous amount of highspeed broadband providers out there on the market at the moment and if you are indeed of the school of thought that highspeed is better then you really should start looking into them. These are all the internet providers that used to offer the dial up connections, but know they have seen the error of their ways and they are offering some of the best highspeed internet connections in the country.

All the big names out there are competing to bring you speeds of up to 50Mb! Now that is fast, and when you do things like video conference or webcam with someone, or watch a video, or play a game, it would be just like there was no connection at all and it was just happening as naturally as talking to someone in the street. This is the new virtual world.

Those highspeed broadband speeds are only really available at the moment via fibre optic highspeed broadband connections though; and sadly these fibre optic networks are not completely laid out across the country. Soon however everyone will be experiencing these speeds from the comfort of their own homes.

Highspeed broadband is usually fast enough for most people, and unless you’re incredibly impatient, you won’t really need to upgrade. Right? Well, that’s what most people think until they actually get fibre optic broadband and realise just how much faster and more reliable it is than standard highspeed broadband.

The advantage of having highspeed broadband via fibre optics is that it never slows down or suffers connection issues due to weather etc. This is because the fibre optic cables are placed underground and are pretty much immune to everything down there unless you get a mole with particularly sharp teeth!

Fibre optics don’t loose speed the further away you are from the source either, unlike the telephone highspeed broadband that suffers speed loss depending on how far away you are from the telephone exchange. So no matter if you’re 100 miles away and the weather is a storm and all the phone lines are down, you will still be able to use highspeed broadband without any interference. The beauty of it is that you can also have all your telephone services and even TV through it too these days.

Why have slow highspeed broadband when you can go fibre optic?

Virgin are here to stay folks and it doesn’t seem to matter what BT pull out of their sleeve, Virgin still appear to go one better. Perhaps it’s the money Virgin can put into the highspeed internet, fibre optic network of cables out there at the moment, but either way they appear to be the leader of the pack…

Let’s look at Virgin’s XXL phone and cable package and see what’s on offer:

It’s not available to everyone yet. Virgin, like BT, are struggling to get the whole of the UK covered by their fibre optic network of cables, and the faster they seem to go the more money it seems to cost them. They must remember to maintain savings for customers otherwise people just won’t sign up.

Up to 50 MBs download speeds capable

Unlimited downloads. No usage allowance anymore with Virgin Media XXL

Free internet security

Free wireless router

Unlimited online storage. Never lose that precious stuff again. You can store it all online and recover it at your leisure. Believe me Virgin are a lot more secure than you PC!

Print up to 100 photos for free every month

24hr Support from dedicated representatives

Fibre optic highspeed broadband is the future, and to be honest i can’t think of anything that could replace it. It is indeed years ahead of its time. Get the best broadband, TV, phone and everything you need for your entertainment from one place – Virgin Media

Now then let’s see what Tesco have to offer. They have great offers in their store when it comes to buying your weekly shopping and groceries, you can get your will done with them, you can even insure your cat, car and home with them, so now they offer highspeed broadband do they?…

Well it certainly looks like its. Let’s just see what Tesco have to offer the highspeed broadband market and what kind of prices they’ve got on offer:

You can get highspeed broadband packages from Tesco for just £19 a month

UK call centres in the unlikely event that something will go wrong or you have a query

No set up fees

Free wireless router

Inclusive UK landline calls evening and weekends. It appears that no-one can offer highspeed broadband these days without offering free phonecalls at the same time; the world has gone competition mad.

You earn 1500 extra clubcard points when you sign up. If you haven’t had reward points with Tesco clubcard before you certainly need to try it out. Their reward system is very good and you can soon reap the benefits of loyal Tesco shopping with free days out, weekend breaks and things like that.

Up to 20 Mbs of highspeed broadband speed.

Also gain clubcard points on each payment of your monthly bill via direct debit.

Unlimited downloads

All in all it looks as though Tesco is now a major player in the highspeed broadband market, and they are well worth a second look.
