Well now that is a good question and it’s something you should ask yourself frequently. You should check your highspeed broadband speed at regular times to make sure you are getting the service you’re paying your internet service provider…
There are times when your internet service may be delayed and this can be due to simply things like
- Poor connection at your phone socket.
- Highspeed broadband won’t necessarily get up to speed when the whole world is online.
- You may be a long way from your telephone exchange.
Or alternatively your service provider might not be working as hard as they could for your subscription fee. Because of all the competition out there at the moment it would be a good idea to make your ISP aware that if your highspeed broadband speeds are not up to scratch then you will consider leaving them and going with another internet service provider.
To check your highspeed broadband connection speed you need to log onto a broadband speed checker. I don’t want to recommend one to you here but i think there are plenty out there to choose from. Simply check your speed on one of these websites and you will get an idea of what speeds you are getting. If these speeds are nothing like you think you should be getting from your ISP then complain and don’t delay.
No-one should have to pay too much for a highspeed internet connection that simply isn’t fast enough; particularly when there are so many of them out there to choose from.
